An older drawing for hnsbeckert’s INCREDIBLE fic, Tension, when John finally gets a good look at Dave’s eyes.
I read this on the kinkmeme a while back and then, later on, when I found they were on AO3, I just kinda lost it, I love HB’s writing!
*eternal baby raptor screeching*
Quick! Everyone finish writing your meet-up porn before your headcanons are jossed into oblivion!
More procrastination from writing…
8amba asked: Is it too much to ask a possibility of you writing a side story with Brobot-Dirk and Jake living out life? ;A; (obv' from the 'not like that' series)
I uh…I wouldn’t wanna step on another author’s toes like that, man. Seems like it’d be kinda presumptuous on my part to butt into whatever they’ve got going on.
jack---noir asked: so i just read flattery and wow its really great but it broke my heart :( and also tanya is amazing is great and youre a really good writer and just wow
Aww, thank you!
Also, yay! Someone liked Tanya~!
Anonymous asked: Have you ever thought about writing an original story? You're such a good writer I would love to read it
Will I divulge it over here? prrrrrrrrrobably not.
Sorry to be a cocktease.
Anonymous asked: Okay, I know this is an odd question, but what kind of music does your Dave listen to?
(Also, between the Amplive, Gorillaz and his solo tracks there, I kinda have a wee headcanon that Dave’s into Del.)
Anonymous asked: i wouldnt be surprized if this had already been adressed in "Wound Down and Stopped" but seeing as though i read the whole fic at around 12 pm i probably missed out on some details. anyways im really confused... (first, if my accusation of Dad being Daves rapist is wrong then this question is pointless) But how does Dad not remeber Dave? It seemed as though he put alot of work into getting with Dave. and i dunno i had just assumed that he had got all of Daves contact info from John..
Oh um…yeah, no. Dad and the rapist are not the same person. Dave’s initial reaction to him when he and John showed up was the result of him pinging as a threat simply because he was a middle-aged, semi-formally dressed white dude. Considering Dave has had scanty if any interaction with this type in his lifetime, as well as the result of his last encounter with one and the post-traumatic state he’s in because of it, he’s reasonably a bit confused and intimidated by this sudden, new stranger.
